Chelsea, Barcelona & AC Milan complete late transfer window business

A number of European heavyweights have this evening confirmed late ins and outs on the transfer front, in the final hours of the European window.

Hazard on the move, Neymar stays put

Another hectic summer packed with non-stop rumours and high-profile business comes to an end tonight.

Some of European football’s biggest names were on the move over the course of the last 3 months, with the likes of Eden Hazard, Antoine Griezmann and Matthijs de Ligt having found their way to new clubs.

There were of course also a whole host of potential deals that failed to come to fruition, including Paulo Dybala’s proposed Manchester United and Tottenham switches, Gareth Bale’s Real Madrid exit and, most-notably, Neymar’s Barcelona return.

Kenedy & Rafinha on the move

The final hours of the window, though, have seen some of Europe’s top clubs continue to do business.

Both Chelsea and Barcelona have opted to send players out on loan.

First off, Kenedy has departed Stamford Bridge to join La Liga outfit Getafe for the remainder of the campaign:

Barcelona, meanwhile, have somewhat surprisingly allowed Rafinha to join Celta Vigo for the season, after the Brazilian extended his current deal with the Spanish champions:

Finally, AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt have managed to thrash out a highly-unusual deal, whereby Ante Rebic has joined the former on a two-year loan, and Andre Silva has made the move to the Bundesliga as part of a similar agreement:
