Doesn’t look good for the Brazilian
Liverpool’s Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker was forced off with an injury during their Premier League opener against Norwich on Friday.
The Reds were always expected to beat Norwich but they did so in style at Anfield.
Liverpool opened the scoring through a Grant Hanley own goal, with the Norwich defender guiding the ball into the back of his own net.
That was followed up by a goal from Mohamed Salah, who finished into the corner of the net after being played in by Roberto Firmino.
Virgil van Dijk then got his campaign off to a scoring start, rising highest from a Mo Salah corner.
Finally, to end the first half, Divock Origi scored to make it 4-0.
Though, it wasn’t all good news at Anfield this evening.
How much of the season will Alisson miss?
That’s because Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker had to be substituted after a pretty serious-looking injury.
The Reds shot-stopper was brilliant in his first season at the club, playing a pivotal role in both the Premier League and Champions League.
However, he could be set for a spell on the sidelines this campaign.

The Brazilian went to take a goal kick but slipped on the followthrough, hurting what looked to be his right calf.
A stretcher was called onto the pitch with Alisson looking in real pain, but he eventually hobbled off and down the tunnel, being replaced by Liverpool newboy Adrian.
Liverpool fans will be hoping for some positive news about his injury from Jurgen Klopp after the game.
